| Three pictures of the newly accquired Aristo Craft SD-45. This massive diesel is a whopping 19.1 kilos and It takes two hands to handle THIS whopper! These photos show the SD-45 cruising by/passing Winslow JCT. I've had this beastie pull 25 cars, some of which were loaded with 3/4 inch driveway stone and not a moan. The drag on the cars must have been about 10+ pounds. Normal pulling power for locos this size is about 29 ounces. |
