The West Berlin Garden Railroad
The Central Railroad of New Jersey
Here is a photo taken from an Aristo Craft catalog in the mid-90's. Yes, it's a *CNJ bobber caboose. By the time Aristo did the CNJ RS-3 the caboose was out of production. It wasn't rocket science to realize that they needed to be available at the same time...Now...I think!? they do release some engines/caboose  at the same time in special offerings.. I could be wrong.

*The real CNJ didn't have bobbers.

Yes, there are no cabeese!
The basic color of the caboose was found on the B & O Aristo track cleaning car.  Using this car makes a "different version" of a non-existing caboose. The lettering was removed using automobile brake fluid. (See  my "DOODLEBUG" section on the Site Map page.)
The "NEW" CNJ Caboose.

After a good clean up the decals were applied. Robert Dustin made theses decals for a FULL size steel caboose. The number is also a real proto-type number from a real CNJ caboose.

Only the rivet counters know this anyway.

It was a very "quick to do" project. So quick it's taken me a year to add it to these pages.. (haha)  Bob- 2.7.2004
