| I removed the original telescoping antenna, which was almost 40 inches in length and, replaced it with a 22 guage strained wire cut to the same length. The wire now "drapes" down like the antenna wire on the TE receiver. This elimates breakage/ bending with the original and also improves the transmission. I now have a 75 foot range and, I won't be poking anyone's eye out. |

| This is the belly of the RDC. The left picture is the container box with the reset button that holds Aristo's DCC unit. The receiver antenna is fully extended from the box and is attached to the body of the RDC using a screw that attaches another box (right picture) making the RDC "all antenna". Along with the transmitter antenna change out to wire, it has now made the RDC very responsive. |
