The "Bee" Keeper
We started talking about the damage we all suffered this year from squirrels. They chewed on all kinds of stuff here. This is my list: House roof vent, garden edging, hose carrier, garden turtles, track ties, passenger station roof, tombstones in the grave yard, deck railing...it just goes on and on. I told the guys that I found this stuff called "Fox Urine". Sprinkle it around the base of a tree or anywhere they hang out and they just seems to go away. Being the "Doubting Thomas" Weaver is, he wanted to take a sniff ...The others backed away when I opend the jar..Tom leaned foward and took a BIG sniff. He then pulled away and said "Yep...that's fox urine alright! " What a brave guy! To find out how Pete Eggink solved his problem with squirrels chewing on his ground throws, click on the "click here" on the jar.
Pete's battery powered Reading "BEE" SD45 was put to work on Sunday. Here it is crossing the Gibbsboro Road bridge. Last year Pete brought his Reading RDC for a visit.. Hmmmm!....... Do you think Pete likes the Reading RR??
Bill's railbus played "Chase Thomas" on Sunday. It was a real hoot to see Thomas trying to get away. He didn't a few times and Clarabel paid the price. The Bill Chestnut Slide Show
Pete's battery powered Reading "BEE" SD45 is backing out of it's carrier on it's little ramp. Pete also made a "BUDD" tote for the RDC and an "EGG" crate for Eggliners. Click on the photo for Pete's web page on their creation..
Tom "Marty Cozad" Weaver railfanning on the West Berlin. You can't see it in the photo but the stone Tom's laying on is WET from Saturday's rain. Tom will do almost anything for a photo! Click on Tom's head to see the photo he took.
